Brady’s Big Announcement

0

Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr., quarterback for the New England Patriots, has announced that he plans to retire in the coming days. It is not clear whether this is a result of the recent Kraft scandal or star teammate Rob Gronkowski choosing to enter the phase of retirement last Sunday. The Patriots organization and fan base is saddened by these events, but one has to wonder if he would have won another ring if he were to play another season.

Brady announced through an Instagram post that he will make his retirement official with the Patriots organization on April 1. Brady’s post was taken very seriously. This social media post has shocked the NFL world, and those who know or worship the name Tom Brady. Regardless of resignation from the Patriots, Brady will go down as the greatest quarterback in history.

“Patriots nation, the greatest nation on earth, I love you,” Brady ended his Instagram post saying.

Tom Brady came into the NFL a slow and lanky player who was undervalued by everyone at the workouts and pre-draft combines. However, it is hard to come up with a name of a person who threw the ball better when it counted most. The results came from one of the greatest work ethics and routines sports will ever see.

“I basically went to bed at 3:30 p.m. every night, never drank and only ate things that have been scientifically proven to biologically improve the state of my well being,” Brady stated in an exclusive interview. “For the first time in maybe 20 years, I had a cheeseburger and a french fry last night,” Brady excitedly mentioned. Although he did not say it on record, Brady did mention he cracked open a cold one for the first time in 20 years.

The Patriots organization has had a bumpy off-season after winning the Super Bowl not too long ago. Robert Kraft’s scandal may have played into the retirement of such a godly talent, but this information has not yet been released. Kraft has been the owner of the Patriots during the Brady era over the last two decades. He has always been an extreme supporter of Brady who brought life to a team that had been struggling. It is not clear what will happen to Kraft or the organization at this time.

“It is what it is,” Brady stated. The legend QB does not have much to say on the matter and when asked more about the subject, he quickly acknowledged what Kraft has done for the Patriots organization during his time there. “Six Super Bowls,” Brady would repeat.

Teammate Julian Edelman was also interviewed exclusively on the topic. “He’s the greatest to ever do it and I’m honored to have played with him” Edelman stated. “I was 12 when the guy won his first title. I mean, not much else to say. I’m 32 now and we just won,” Edelman added.

There is much in the air about the upcoming season after the Patriots eventful off-season thus far. However, it is in fact that Tom Brady sits on a mountain of six Super Bowl titles, alone.
