Cut the Confusion

0

You’ve been eyeing someone for a while. You see them pass by at the Pub and think, “when am I going to finally talk to them?” Then, on a night out, your friend introduces you to this person and you are instantly infatuated. You two spend the next few weeks having sleepovers and study dates. When you see them in public, they’re sitting with their friends and give you a nod and you go on your way. You seem to always hang out after dark. Starting to sound familiar?

Well if it is, I’m here to tell you that you’re either the side chick or this person is “confused” about what’s going on. If you just read all of this and you’re the person that is confused, flip to another article and reevaluate yourself. If you are the person that knows what you want, keep reading. From now on, we’ll call the confused person Doctor Confused.

First of all, Doctor Confused DOES want you, but only in their loneliest moments. They don’t reach out to you when they’re surrounded by friends or doing really well in their classes, because you’re last resort entertainment. I know Doctor Confused and you have had a good time, but now it’s time to take a step back and ask yourself what you’re doing when you’re not with Doctor Confused.

Are you wondering why it’s been a few days since they’ve texted you? Are you sick of being the one who constantly reaches out? If so, you need to do what is best for yourself and not go out of your way for someone who sees you as their personal jester. Save room for those people who bring positive and SURE energy into your life. Say goodbye to Doctor Confused.
