Movies To Watch Out For

While we can’t go to the movies, that doesn’t mean we can’t watch them. Here’s a list of movies to look out for over the next few months.  

Dear Evan Hansen (release date: Sept. 24, 2021) – Based on the hit Broadway musical about a high school boy struggling with social anxiety and acceptance after the suicide of a classmate, this movie is sure to capture the hearts of anyone who missed the musical. The cast includes the original Evan Hansen on Broadway, Ben Platt, as well as Amy Adams, Julianne Moore, and more.  

The Many Saints of Newark (release date: Oct. 1, 2021) – Ever heard of the Sopranos? I thought so. The Many Saints of Newark takes a look back on a young Tony Soprano, his family history, and of course, how he became the legendary mobster everyone knows him to be. 

No Time to Die (Oct. 8, 2021) – Who isn’t a fan of James Bond? The next installment in the James Bond movies is sure to grab your attention, when Bond gets called to rescue a kidnapped scientist and goes against a mysterious villain equipped with new and dangerous technology. 

Dune (Oct. 22, 2021) – From science fiction’s greatest masterpiece, Dune is a movie adaptation of the legendary book. Starring Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya, this movie is sure to grab the attention of those who love science fiction and good actors. 

Eternals (Nov. 5, 2021) – Marvel Studios is back, with a whole new set of characters for us to love. The Eternals are a race of immortal beings with superpowers who have secretly been living on Earth for thousands of years. When new villains arise, the Eternals must reunite and save Earth. 

House of Gucci (Nov. 26, 2021) – With a stacked cast of Lady Gaga, Jared Leto, Adam Driver, Al Pacino, Tom Ford, and more, House of Gucci is about the turbulent marriage and divorce between Maurizio (the grandson of Guccio Gucci and the one-time head of the Gucci fashion house), and Patrizia Gucci, which ultimately leads to murder.  

West Side Story (Dec. 10, 2021) – From the hit Broadway musical, and film adaptation, comes another version of the classic, West Side Story, which follows two teenagers from different backgrounds falling in love in the 1950’s in New York City.  

Spider-Man: No Way Home (Dec. 17, 2021) – Spider-Man is back and better than ever with its third installment. For the first time, Spider-Man’s identity is no longer a secret, and Peter is unable to live a normal life because of it. This movie will also feature Dr. Strange and based on the trailer, looks like it might be one of the best Marvel movies to date.
